I have the day off work and my kiddo is at school for a while, so I started Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Guys, this game is good. Like, really good.
Okay finally it's time to say it that I'm currently playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard. I got the next week off so all things sorted out.
@Khwarezm89 Enjoy your next week off! I’m playing the game as well. So far it’s great. What class did you choose?
Tried the Dead Space remake. Despite the fact it has to have been a good few years since I played the original, I very quickly bounced off the remake as it felt very very similar to the point that I was just sorta like ‘I’ve played this before’. Started playing Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. I've been waiting years to start this one up as I've waited until I have better hardware and all the DLCs, which I now have. The game is fantastic and heavily reminiscent of Odyssey as I expected. It doesn't seem like it'll be as epic as Odyssey and the setting isn't that interesting due to the lack of historical places. I mean, one appeal of AC for me has always been to explore a historical period and see what certain places looked like back then. But seeing as how this setting isn't particularly known for having famous historical places, it won't be as appealing to explore in this game compared to Origins and Odyssey.
One cool thing is that you have to go out and find abilities in order to unlock them. Previously, there wasn't much incentive to explore as weapons, armour and other equipment could be found in abundance. But it feels like they've dialed that down a lot in this game on top of making abilities something you'll have to find, therefore making exploration more worthwhile. I'm also playing the game on «Pathfinder» exploration difficulty in order to make the experience as immersive as possible.
It's going to be a long game, but I can tell I'm already hooked to it as I've played it for
