Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader has received a surprisingly large patch ahead of the Christmas break; we'd expect something like this to accompany an expansion, and at least one DLC offering is still on the way. We suppose we shouldn't complain: Co-op mode is now available on PS5, new cutscenes have been added to the campaign, specific combat encounters have been overhauled, and a smattering of new weapons (including some much-needed Force Swords) have been fairly distributed throughout the opening acts to aid early game item progression.
Developer Owlcat Games has done our grunt work for us, sifting through the 1000+ changes introduced by the major patch, with a list of highlights you can peruse below (always appreciated). If you like, you can see the complete, exhaustive list here, but beware of story spoilers.

I have been enjoying it. I'm a big fan of owlcat, knowing they have a lot of jank at the beginning of their releases, but are committed to improving thier games. As an avid D&D player, I do enjoy the fantasy settings a bit more The lore of 40k is quite interesting and I've only dabled in Some tabletop. I havnt finished it yet, but I am having fun so far.
Are we getting this guy as a character?
Fantastic but pretty glitchy game so hopefully this patch cleans a lot of that up. That said I loved it and will try to talk a buddy into another go at it co-op. I didn’t get into Wrath of the Righteous but thanks to Rogue
