Last year, it was announced a sequel to the 2011 shooter Warhammer 40K: Space Marine was in the works, and looks like developer Saber Interactive are working hard to live up the game’s cult-classic reputation. The studio is clearly recycling some tech from their World War Z game, as Space Marine 2 features some pretty intimidating hordes of alien Tyranid enemies. During today’s Warhammer Skulls gaming showcase, we got a fresh look at Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, and the game continues to look impressive. We see more large swarms of baddies, intense melee action, and, of course, buckets of spilled alien blood. You can check out the trailer for yourself, below.
Intense-looking stuff! Of course, performance is going to be key for this game, as those hundreds and thousands of enemies aren’t going to be fun to kill if they come accompanied with slowdown. That said, Saber-developed games usually deliver on the technical front, so hopefully, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 will be no different. Haven’t been keeping up with the game?
