The Warhammer Skulls showcase today unveiled some new games, collaborations, and upcoming Warhammer-based content. Among the announcements was a collaboration with Wargaming, new content for Darktide, Vermintide 2, and much more.
Fatshark’s Warhammer Vermintide 2 and Darktide will get some new free DLC. Darktide is getting the ‘Rejects Unite’ content update, with two new missions, and a new enemy, the Chaos Spawn. Fatshark will also release its revamped cosmetics shop and reopen the premium store after taking time since launch to improve the game before adding back the monetization options.
Vermintide 2 will get Karak Azgaraz, on PC June 13th. This DLC will bring three maps from the first game to the second with the new content. Console release will follow in the future.
Frontier Developments announced a brand new Warhammer RTS, Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin at the event. There will be a single player campaign with new story content, set in the Age of Sigmar, and based on the Dawnbringer Crusades. There will be four factions that you can control in real time battles and aside from the single player campaign, you'll be able to engage in 1v1 and 2v2 cross platform online multiplayer. Expect a release on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 debuted some new gameplay in its latest teaser. The video gives a peek at the Tyranid onslaught coming when the game launches.
