AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT Custom Design From ASRock Spotted, Features 16 GB VRAM

AMD's Radeon RX 7800 XT seems to be the next RDNA 3 graphics card being prepped for launch as it's been listed over at the EEC.

The AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT has been talked about over the past several months but the Radeon team decided to launch the mainstream Radeon RX 7600. This decision was made to tackle the RTX 4060 series from NVIDIA. Now, the company is going back to the high-end segment and its partners are working on the latest iteration of graphics cards utilizing the RDNA 3 graphics architecture.

As such, the ASRock Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics card has been listed over at the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission). The graphics card has been listed in two variants, a standard, & a white variant. The standard variant is labeled as the "RX 7800XT PG 16GO" while the white variant has been listed as the "RX 7800XT PGW 16GO".

The most notable thing about this listing is that both AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics cards from ASRock have been listed with 16 GB GDDR6 VRAM which points out a 256-bit bus interface. This is very likely to be utilizing the Navi 32 GPU which also comes packed with up to 64 MB of the Infinity Cache, resulting in higher effective memory bandwidth than what's achievable through the DRAM dies. Furthermore, both cards would feature a custom triple-fan cooling solution in a 2.5-slot form factor and will come in factory-overclocked flavors.

In addition to the 16 GB GDDR6 VRAM, the Navi 32 GPU which is expected to power the Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics card will feature a single GCD (Graphics Compute Dies) and four MCDs (Multi-Cache Die). The GPU or GCD is said to measure 200mm2 while each MCD will retain the same size at 37.5mm2.
