Cyberpunk 2077 has come a long way since its rough launch back in 2020, as CD Projekt Red continues to smooth things out with patch after patch of fixes and performance improvements. Now, the latest Cyberpunk 2077 update, Patch v1.63, contains a fix that owners of AMD Ryzen 7000 and Nvidia RTX 40 series systems looking to make use of DLSS 3 should be well pleased about.
Last month, during our RTX 4060 Ti 8GB review, we noted that enabling DLSS Frame Generation in both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 on Ryzen 7000 systems caused stuttering. Nvidia passed along a pre-release fix and promised that a future Cyberpunk 2077 update would fix this problem.
Well, the fix was finally rolled out with yesterday’s Cyberpunk 2077 Patch v1.63, alongside various quest, UI, and visual updates.
