CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a major expansion in September with Phantom Liberty, which adds a new area, quests and much more. Launching alongside it is an update that revamps the base game. Before that, patch 1.63 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC with bug fixes for quests, the UI and more.
Quest fixes for All Along the Watchtower, where V could randomly flatline (read: die), are available. Progress blockers for Never Fade Away, Play It Safe, and more have also been addressed. When exploring the open world, if you’ve ever encountered Gigs that remained in the “Undiscovered” stage and didn’t begin when entering the area, it should be fixed.
An issue that caused the UI to show “Enemy hack in progress” when transferring data or cash is also gone. If you noticed color artifacts on some surfaces when using Path Tracing, that’s seemingly fixed. Check out the full patch notes below.
