The UK was clearly ready for the arrival of the demonic ARPG Diablo 4, as the game has launched straight to the top of the physical charts. Selling the majority of its copies on PS5, it's a resounding success for Blizzard. The boxed copy sales in the UK reflect the game's performance elsewhere; the publisher reports it's the fastest-selling game in its history.
It means that Nintendo's open world epic, Tears of the Kingdom, has been knocked off its perch after several weeks at number one. Meanwhile, Hogwarts Legacy has moved up into third, while Street Fighter 6 shifts from second to fifth. Notably, both God of War Ragnarok and Gran Turismo 7 have re-entered the top 10 in seventh and ninth respectively.
