Ubisoft vet Rob Cooper is leaving the company
Ubisoft's MD for Northern Europe, the Middle East and export territories, Rob Cooper, is leaving the company after 23 years.
GamesIndustry.biz reports that the exec is departing the French publishing giant though it's not clear where he is off to next.
Cooper joined Ubisoft in 2000, initially handling the company's business in the UK, the Nordic regions, Australia and MENA. During his career, Cooper has held sales director roles at Nintendo UK – as well as two of the company's UK distributors – and Codemasters. In 1997 he joined THQ International as its MD for UK and export territories before moving to Ubisoft three years later.
"We can confirm that Rob Cooper has announced his departure from his role as managing director at Northern Europe, Middle East and Export at Ubisoft," a Ubisoft spokesperson said.
"We would like to thank him for his extensive contribution and passion to the business and wish him every future success.”
