Two new trademark filings have added credence to the idea that a new entry in the Counter-Strike series is on the way.

The CS2 filings are for the computer game software and entertainment services categories respectively.
Word that Counter-Strike 2 might be on the way came via journalist Richard Lewis, who claims that a beta for the shooter could be coming as early as April. The game is said to be built on Valve's Source 2 engine.
