With the Nintendo Switch 2 officially announced, and a Nintendo Direct scheduled for April, it’s time to start talking about what we want out of this brand new console. With more power and more capabilities, there are definitely more options for Nintendo moving forward. Despite the console having graphics comparable to the Xbox One or the PlayStation 4, Nintendo is right where they need to be with their home console. Now it’s about the games.

Donkey Kong 64 was probably one of my favorite games on the Nintendo 64, and I’m surprised the game has never seen a remaster or a sequel since it launched decades ago. I know when we think about Donkey Kong we instantly think of 2D experiences, but a brand new Donkey Kong game in 3D would be epically awesome. I’d take a remaster of Donkey Kong 64 while they work on something bigger and brand new,
