The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy Boxed Set celebrates nearly four decades of gorgeous artwork by the legendary designer and illustrator Yoshitaka Amano. This collector's edition art book set released last month at a retail price of $200, but Final Fantasy fans can already save big at Amazon. The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy is on sale for $130.30 at Amazon. It was already on sale for roughly $144, but Amazon is offering an additional 10% discount if you click the coupon box below the price. Side note: You can also save 50% on Final Fantasy 16 for PS5 at Amazon. Amano designed the title logo for the latest entry in the long-running series.
This is a second edition rollout of The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy, which was originally released in the mid-2010s in limited numbers. This new set includes the original trio of books in hardcover format and focus on Amano's work across the first 10 mainline Final Fantasy books. It also comes with a new flipbook of two different Final Fantasy animations made by Amano and two souvenir items, a silver ink Final Fantasy print on clear acetate, and two oversized Final Fantasy postcards.
Finally, this collection comes with the softcover book All About Yoshitaka Amano, which contains an interview with the artist, a bibliography, thumbnail guides to The Sky, and dozens of photographs of Amano in his New York and Tokyo studios.
