Collecting video game statues is a very expensive hobby. Whether you're paying the extra for a collector's edition that includes one or forking over hundreds of dollars to buy limited edition ones separately, you need to seriously like a statue's design if you're willing to part with a significant chunk of change to make it a part of your home decor. Suffice to say, Street Fighter's new Chun-Li statue has a lot of fans, and it'll need to be considering how much it costs.
There's a strong chance you've already seen the new statue from Premium Collectibles Studio on social media as the images showing Chun-Li from various angles have been shared a lot. Largely because the statue shows the Street Fighter OG mid-squat while weightlifting. It seems people are pretty thirsty for Chun-Li, but they'll need to pay if they want to properly quench that thirst.
For anyone who wants to add a weightlifting Chun-Li to their statue collection, pre-orders for the figure are already available through the links below. There are three designs to choose from, although only two of them seem to be live at Big Bad Toy Store right now. The classic version has Chun-Li in the attire she is most synonymous with. Blue and white with covers over the buns in her hair. If you want to own that statue, it's going to cost you $664.99.
Premium Collectibles Chun-Li statues are official Street Fighter merchandise made in conjunction with Capcom. The statue shows Chun-Li weightlifting and there are three options available, each of them featuring the iconic video game character in different attire, and she also has a different shake and different color weights in each design.
Also available at BBTS is the aplha version of the statue. The same price as the classic version but with a different look. Chun-Li has traded the clothes she usually wears to fight the likes of Ryu and Ken for an outfit far more fitting for training. A complete blue outfit with yellow accents and yellow ribbons on her hair to match.
