It might not seem like it, but Tekken 8 has been out for a few weeks now, and gamers have been talking about it and showing it off ever since its arrival. You’ve likely seen memes of the various characters in numerous outfits to “imitate” certain classic characters from other franchises. It’s all rather hilarious. But they are also talking about the game in the gameplay/graphics sense, too, as the title has impressed pretty much everyone who has played it so much so that they are comparing it to the other fighting games from Capcom and Nether Realm Studios from 2023 to debate which was the best fighting game of the set.
While we won’t answer that debate ourselves, it should be noted that Tekken 8 isn’t aiming to stop its roll anytime soon. On the 20th, a special live show will be released detailing the fighting title’s post-launch roadmap. More than likely, that means we’ll hear how many DLC characters we’ll get, who they are, and when they will likely be released. There have been plenty of leaks about said content, so it’s for the best that Bandai Namco gets this out of the way. Officially, the only DLC character we know about is Eddie Gordo, the longtime character and fan-favorite due to his move set. But we know there are more in the pipeline; we just don’t have official confirmation yet:
