The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered has received a new update that solves a Trophy issue, fixes a couple of No Return bugs, and more. The No Return fixes come as welcome additions since the mode is The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered's main selling point.
No Return allows Last of Us fans to play as their favorite characters from Naughty Dog's apocalyptic universe, whether it be central figures like Joel and Ellie or more minor ones like Lev, Manny, and Yara. The Last of Us' newest mode utilizes the tried-and-true roguelike approach by putting players through a series of scenarios that increase in difficulty and reset a player's run upon death. Like in many games, No Return players have experienced their fair share of bugs, some of which were fixed with the recent update.
The update's first No Return bug fix solves an issue that caused the Trading Post to only offer three options for users to purchase, and the second fixes an issue that caused Clickers to become stuck on certain maps. Additionally, the update removes an overarching bug that saw users fail to unlock earned Trophies after importing their save data from the PlayStation 4. Other bugs removed with the update include players being unable to melee during the story's final encounter, an animation issue that occurred when players were attacked while entering a workbench, and Abby's bonus skins causing weapons to glitch during certain cutscenes.
The update also continues with The Last of Us' focus on accessibility by fixing an issue that prevented the text-to-speech function from reading out leaderboard placements. That's about it for Patch 1.1.2, other than minor UI and audio improvements that were not explained in detail.
