The game's destructible environments have pulled the attention of many gamers who want to find interesting ways to make matches unique, offering possible room for creative gameplay.
In a new trailer, the Yggsgard map for Marvel Rivals is revealed. The area shows off plenty of space for different types of team-based action to take place, and bears strong Norse influence while putting a unique Marvel spin on concepts. The centerpiece of the map is Yggdrasil, the world tree of Norse myth, and the area surrounding it is the general layout of Asgard. The locations have fused after a «Timestream Entanglement» in the game. This blending of the two locations makes for a giant open area styled partially with natural elements but curated to reflect the regal aesthetic of Asgardian royalty like Loki. Loki appears like a difficult Marvel Rivals character to play, but there is a chance that this level may offer somewhat of an advantage. The open space provides plenty of potential locations for the character to teleport to, and strategic placement is not new to the hero shooter genre.
In addition to gameplay, Marvel Rivals may have more to offer in its lore than what is currently known.
