To celebrate the so-called year of Shadow the Hedgehog, a new skin has been added to Sonic Superstars. Fans are divided - some think it's kinda cute, others say it's downright creepy. Imagine if your buddy was walking around in a onesie made to look like your skin, after all. It's a bit weird.
However, it isn't just the look that has sparked a debate in the fanbase. Some are disappointed that this is a skin at all, and were instead hoping that Shadow himself would be playable in Sonic Superstars. Alas, we just have Sonic running around in his skin - which gets even creepier when you consider that Classic Sonic barely even knows Shadow.
Despite this, it's hard to say that Shadow fans probably won't feel hard done by this year. The Ultimate Lifeform is set to appear in the Sonic Generations remake, Sonic x Shadow Generations, getting his own campaign. He's also going to play a major role in the next Sonic
