The latest update for finally added one of the franchise's most notorious factions to the game and with the help of mods, The Enclave has never been more prevalent throughout the Commonwealth. The game's recent next-gen patch may have inadvertently broken many of the community's most popular mods but the addition of the sinister government organization that plagued the Capital Wasteland was received well by both old fans and new. Unfortunately, The Enclave is only really prevalent for a single quest, so it's a good thing there's a way to make them more pronounced.
Posted to Nexus Mods by creator Killerinstinckt, the aptly titled «Enclave Outposts» adds a variety of small bases set up by pockets of the organization all around the nuclear Commonwealth. These small encampments, which have been scattered across the entire map, usually consist of a small structure to protect the remaining scientists and troops, many of whom are decked out in the iconic black Power Armor. The Sole Survivor is also more likely to come across Enclave patrols, making for some challenging random encounters when players are least expecting it.

Serving as the primary antagonists of both and, the Enclave is one of the most sinister groups laying claim to the Wasteland. Built on a doctrine of «purity,» the organization is a strong believer in eugenics and the eradication of anyone who doesn't agree with their mission, putting them at odds with almost every other faction trying to survive. The Brotherhood of Steel ultimately mounted a major attack against The Enclave in, destroying the group's last major base and forcing them to scatter across the country.
