The new version of Kingpinwho is on his way towards taking over the criminal underworld of Marvel Comics just insulted Thanosmassively, basically calling the Mad Titan a joke. Wilson Fisk’s son, Butch, is currently on a mission to usurp Wilson Fisk’s remaining control over organized crime New York City and has dubbed himself the new Kingpin as he prepares to eliminate his father once and for all. While discussing his villainous plan of criminal control, Butch takes a dig at Thanos with a massive insult.
In Devil’s Reign#5 by Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto, the walls of madness are closing in around Wilson Fisk as he remembers that Daredevil’s secret identity is Matt Murdock. Fisk becomes obsessed with revenge and lets the rest of his meticulous planning and flawless follow-through fall to the wayside. Kingpin turns on his fellow villains, such as Doctor Octopus, and even decides to no longer use the Purple Man’s powers to become President of the United States. As Fisk is in a state of such disarray, the new Kingpin decides now is the perfect time to strike.

Butch, the new Kingpin, discusses taking out his father permanently with Matt Murdock’s “brother” Mike Murdock. When Daredevil was in prison, Mike took over Matt’s identity as a citizen and a lawyer so no one would suspect Matt Murdock and Daredevil were the same person. Since he took over Matt’s life for him, Mike and Butch have been working together to take over New York’s criminal underbelly. Mike only exists because of the supernatural powers of a mystical artifact known as the Norn Stone, something Mike still has in his possession.
