Team17 to publish new title from Lichtspeer studio Lichthund
gematsu.comTeam17 has announced a partnership with Lichtspeer developer Lichthund to publish its next title—an unannounced, original intellectual property “that strongly adheres to both companies’ idiosyncratic heritages,” currently in development for consoles and PC.
“I and the rest of Team17 Digital are excited to be working with Lichthund on their next title, which promises to be as unique as their debut release [Lichtspeer],” Team17 CEO Michael Pattison said in a press release. “The partnership underlines our continued mission to help exceptional developers deliver the best and most eclectic indie games on the planet, and will strengthen our portfolio of nearly 150 games.”
Lichthund CEO Rafal Zaremba added, “We are incredibly excited about our collaboration with Team17 on one of our projects. Partnering with a publisher that shares our values and creative vision was very important to us. Together, we are committed to raising the bar in terms of production values and creating a game that will captivate and immerse players in a new and exciting experience.
