Later this year, long-suffering Metal Gear fans will soon be able to dive back into a number of the series’ classic offerings thanks to the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1. Interestingly enough, in fact, it seems it might be coming to more platforms than what Konami has specifically confirmed so far.
Officially, the collection is set to release for current-gen consoles, PC, and the Switch, though it seems an unannounced PS4 version might also be in the pipeline. Curiously, the rating has mentioned a PS4 version for several weeks at this point, so it’s unknown if this is an error, or something that Konami will actually end up officially confirming ahead of launch.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is due out on October 24 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Leaks have claimed that a Vol. 2 release is also in the works, which is something Konami has seemingly hinted at as well.
