Apple's standard iPhone 15 models are slated to receive major upgrades in terms of performance and design. The devices are expected to feature a Dynamic Island display with minor tweaks in the design of the camera layout. In our view, these additions would narrow the gap with the iPhone 15 Pro models. However, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo now suggests that the iPhone 15 will feature an even lower demand than the iPhone 14 this year.
It was recently reported that Apple could increase the price of the entire iPhone 15 lineup, While the standard models will not launch with a major price difference, the iPhone 15 Pro models could see a price hike of up to $200. The price increase is one of the reasons why the demand for the standard iPhone 15 models could fall short of expectations. With the price increase and ongoing inflation, users would lose their purchasing power and would be forced to stick to their current iPhone models for another year or so.
