The board game adaptation of goliath manga and anime series Demon Slayer is coming to PS5 and PS4, after debuting meekly on Nintendo Switch last month. The title couldn’t top 20,000 sales in Japan during Golden Week, and so Sony subsidiary Aniplex will be hoping the CyberConnect2 title sells a little better on PlayStation platforms.
The game – fully titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sweep the Board! – is a Mario Party-style affair, featuring characters from the source material and tons of different minigames. Two new characters will be added post-release and will be part of the PlayStation versions, including Kanao Tsuyuri and Genya Shinazugawa. A release date is pegged for 17th July.
