According to the developers XD, this game is set to bring you classic Japanese turn-based tactical RPG action with some eye-catching neo-pixel visuals. Now, just before the launch, they’re rolling out the final CBT for Sword of Convallaria.
You can sign up for the final CBT of Sword of Convallaria on Android (as well as PC) starting June 27th. If you’re an Android user, fill out the application form on the official website between June 13th and June 24th. The actual testing period starts on June 27th and runs till July 4th.
The game officially launches on July 31st, giving the devs time to fix any last-minute errors or malfunctions. In Sword of Convallaria, you’re on a mission to save the nation of Iria. You’ll build a team of unique allies and engage in some strategic grid-based battles. The game has an intricate combat system and with different terrains offering buffs and debuffs, you’ll have to make full-fledged strategies.
You’ll recruit companions at the tavern, gear them up at the forge, train them and lead your mercenary group on legendary quests across various factions. The game features a soundtrack by Hitoshi Sakimoto, the person behind the music for Final Fantasy Tactics and Valkyria Chronicles. The game’s music and distinct neo-pixel visuals go pretty well with each other.
