A stunningly accurate cosplay has received developer Larian Studios' seal of approval. After years in Early Access on PC, Larian's RPG was released last year to incredibly high critical acclaim, going on to win many Game of the Year awards and even making its way onto Screen Rant's "" list.
Belgian cosplayer Roxace took to X to share a video of their Lae'zel cosplay, which truly brings the character to life. This post caught the attention of the official account, which shared the post with the caption ""
The account also commented "" on Roxace's original post, further giving the cosplay its seal of approval.
Roxace has also cosplayed characters from and, such as Jinx and Panam Palmer.
Prior to its full reveal, Roxace had been teasing this full Lae'zel cosplay, with impressive face and body makeup tests truly transforming them into the Githyanki warrior. Previously, they shared images of the then unpainted extended ears, which appeared to be made out of foam, and the construction of Lae'zel's under-harness, sharing side-by-side comparisons with the character design from the game to ensure that it's as accurate as possible.
This isn't the first cosplay Roxace has been working on either, as they shared various work-in-progress images of another of the game's main companions, Shadowheart. More specifically, these images show her Dark Justiciar armor, which players in the game can get by letting her fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a Dark Justiciar for the goddess Shar by defeating the Nightsong and fully embracing Darkness.
In, Shadowheart's Dark Justiciar gear can be found within the Library of Silence in the Gauntlet of Shar.
Roxace's cosplays have certainly earned their praise from Larian and the community. With their impressive attention to detail, they have done a great job at bringing such a beloved character as Lae'zel to life.
