Alfira is arguably one of the most underrated NPCs in . Initially found in the Emerald Grove, where she can teach the player character how to play an instrument, her number of appearances in a playthrough depends entirely on whether or not a player manages to keep her alive (or if they’ve picked the Dark Urge origin character). Like most underrated video game characters, Alfira also gets some of the best cosplay.
Reddit user ellevishh posted their Alfira cosplay online, and though it’s a pretty faithful recreation of the bard-in-training, there’s something about it that has some of the commenters a bit unsettled. Ellevishh impressively recreates Alfira’s horns, hair coloring, and outfit — but it seems to be the black and orange tiefling eyes that have some viewers a bit unsettled by it.

Players encounter Alfira frequently on their journey through all three acts — but some players have found evidence that suggests the bard may have initially been a companion character. Eagle-eyed players (with the help of mods) have found Alfira mentioned in the code as a companion to either gain or lose points for an approval rating despite the player not being able to add her to their party at this time.
