Stellar Blade is just a few weeks away from release, and will be developer Shift Up's first major console project. However, before this PS5 exclusive is even out, the studio has begun hiring for its next game — and it looks like it'll also be hitting consoles.
On a new recruitment page on its website, Shift Up is advertising roles for its next game, which will be a triple-A, sci-fi action RPG. Built in Unreal Engine (presumably 5, but not stated), the various listings also mention monsters, «stylish action», and an urban setting, so it sounds like it won't be too far away from what's being done with Stellar Blade.

The game has a demo out now, and you can read what we think of it in our preview. Whether you end up liking Stellar Blade or not, it looks like Shift Up will be bringing us another stylised action RPG in the coming years.

Maybe it's good to have trashy mobile games in order to finance proper passion projects.
There seem to be quite varied opinions on this game. The demo answered a few questions but it'll be interesting to see the reception from full reviews.
I tried the demo yesterday, I was already excited and got to admit, the demo blew me away.
The combat does take some getting used to, but once it clicks it’s insanely satisfying. A definite day one for me now. And if this means we’re going to get more games at this kind of quality, then I am in… tight
