Massive Entertainment’s Star Wars Outlaws was one of the bigger announcements of last year, but outside of 2024, publisher Ubisoft didn’t provide a release date. However, Disney may have let the cat out of the bag early on its Disney Parks website.
Highlighting 24 “Oooh-Worthy” things from its Disney Experiences division, it said the open-world title is “set to release late this year.” Whether that means in Autumn or Winter remains to be seen, but Ubisoft has yet to confirm the late 2024 window.
Star Wars Outlaws is in development for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, and stars Kay Vess, a scoundrel planning one of the biggest heists in the galaxy. Accompanied by Nix, she can garner support from or betray different factions (including the infamous Jabba the Hutt).
There are various planets to explore, each as large as two to three zones from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (and with seamless traversal into space). Fortunately, it won’t be too big for players to finish. Head here for the latest details.
