When Star Wars Outlaws was formally unveiled in June, Ubisoft handed it a general 2024 release window, and that release window was seemingly narrowed down by a recent Disney blog post that stated the open world action-adventure game would be out sometime in “late” 2024.
However, Ubisoft has moved quickly to correct that. As spotted by Kotaku, mentions of a late 2024 launch have been removed from the aforementioned blog post and replaced with the much vaguer, officially announced 2024 window. Additionally, a Ubisoft spokesperson has also said in a statement to the outlet that the “late” 2024 window was incorrect.
Many would, of course, have presumed that Star Wars Outlaws would be releasing in the later months of the year, though clearly, Ubisoft wants to give itself the wiggle room to be able to announce a date at any point in the year, rather than just within a narrower window. What that release date will end up being, however, remains to be seen.
Whenever it launches, Star Wars Outlaws will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
