Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords will be released for Nintendo Switch on June 8th. The game’s alignment system, developed around the Light and Dark sides of the force, provided the player with several choices in plot interaction and replayability. The game’s combat system and character creation were based on the D20 system of tabletop RPGs made famous by Dungeons and Dragons. Despite its critical and commercial success, the series itself was dormant from the release of the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMORPG in 2011 until its rekindling with the reveal of the Knights of the Old Republic remake in 2021.
