The eagerly anticipated New Game+ update is now available in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. It adds plenty of additions players have been asking for, and at least one no one had on their bingo card: access to a developer debug menu that messing around in could potentially corrupt your saves and disrupt Trophy progress.
Developer Insomniac addressed the unintended addition on Twitter, warning players that using the menu could get them burned but stressing that playing normally bears no risk. In the interest of not bricking your save game, and as some players have reported opening the menu accidentally, avoid pressing the L3 button while on the save screen.

The answer isn’t to not try out the dev menu. It’s to back up your save first and temporarily disable auto upload.
@MaddieTian Exactly, they just don’t want people to use it. Apparently you can unlock all the trophies with it in seconds, and there’s also details buried inside we aren't meant to know about like possible DLC etc, so you can see why they’d want to scare people off touching it.
I tried it out, you can load up the Final Cut scenes on NG+ and pop the trophy for that instantly. I think
