Speaker Brinthe - War Within Model with Awesome Backpack
Speaker Brinthe is a new character in the War Within, and she has a unique model with an interesting mechanical backpack!
You may remember Brinthe from our recent post on Earthen lore, where she explains the problems with memory archives to Dagran. She also plays a role in the new zone open for testing, The Ringing Depths.
Speaker Brinthe has an elaborate tinker robe and animated spinning bracers, but the highlight of her outfit is her mechanical backpack! We haven't seen anything quite like this before on an NPC.
Make sure to view her in the model viewer so you can see how all the different tools on her backpack are animated.
We've also found an icon for her backpack, inv_cape_special_brinthe_d_02, which isn't connected to any items yet. However, the icon depicts the «plain» version of her backpack, without the gadgets, and we've also found a model with just the central section.
It remains to be seen if any version of this backpack will be available to players in The War Within. It's certainly eye-catching though, and hopefully more items with this aesthetic will be available as transmog pieces in future expansions, for those looking to resemble a Tinker.
