Today, Bungie has released the official launch trailer for Destiny 2: The Final Shape, out on June 4. This will be the eighth expansion produced for the free-to-play first-person shooter MMO game released in 2017.
Destiny 2: The Final Shape was originally scheduled to launch in February 2024. However, Bungie endured some rough times, suffering layoffs and leading to the expansion's delay until June.

Prismatics will also have more Aspect and Fragment slots than the other subclasses.
Destiny 2: The Final Shape will also inaugurate a new content delivery model through episodes. The first episode, Echoes, will start on June 11, one week after the expansion's release. New and existing players' Power levels will be increased to the new minimum Power level of 1900, a soft cap of 1940, with the hard power level cap set at 1990, and the Pinnacle Reward cap at 2000. These power level increases will take effect upon the release of The Final Shape itself on June 4.
