Indie game developer Matteo Baraldi has dropped a new title under his studio banner TNTC (Tough Nut to Crack). It’s called Space Spree, and it’s an endless runner with a twist. The main challenge here is to survive a horde of aliens’ attacks and slay them.
In Space Spree, you destroy obstacles and save the universe with an endless running experience. It’s an intergalactic battle which is packed with arcade vibes, too. All you need to do is build your team, upgrade your gear and blast away those pesky aliens to progress.
Each alien has health points displayed, so you know exactly who to target and when. Every alien you kill drops an upgrade and every choice you make impacts your journey in the game. You can also dive into the seasonal ladder. You get over 40 achievements to unlock, plus daily quests to tackle.
As you progress, you can add soldiers and droids to your team. You also get to deploy additional weapons like grenades and shields. There’s also a Hall of Fame, reserved for the top 50 hunters. Want to see the game in action? Check out the official trailer of Space Spree here!
Space Spree actually takes a hilarious jab at those misleading mobile game ads that we all hate. The ones that promise thrilling gameplay but deliver anything but. Well, this game flips the script and gives us exactly what those ads pretend to offer: an endless runner that’s actually endless and fun.
If endless running is your jam, then you can try Space Spree out. It’s available for free on the Google Play Store. And if you’re looking for something that makes you actually run and stay fit, then check out this recent piece of news by us. Zombies Run + Marvel Move Celebrates Pride With The X-Men Hellfire Gala.
