Capcom shared a little teaser trailer for Terry Bogart’s return to Street Fighter 6 during year 2, the Fatal Fury and King of Fighters character set to release in autumn 2024.
Obviously best known as a star of his own fighting game series, SNK has been a willing partner to bring Terry Bogard to other fighting games in the past. There was, of course, the Capcom vs. SNK series as a whole, but he’s also been in Fighting EX Layer and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Now he’s popping up in Street Fighter 6.
As he joins the Street Fighter roster, Terry will be available throughout the game, in the World Tour, Battle Hub and Fighting Ground mode. Capcom has done a great job of highlighting each new character with special in-game events, and there’s sure to be a bevy of in-game cosmetics to earn themed around Terry.
Terry will be available to be purchased individually with Fighter Coins, but will be unlocked automatically for owners of the Year 2 Character Pass or the Ultimate Pass.
In our Street Fighter 6 Review, Nick said, “Street Fighter 6 doesn’t need recommending to hardcore fighting fans – you all already know how incredible it is – but do I recommend it for more casual players? Street Fighter 6 has a real sense of community, welcoming all players old and new, teaching new tricks and providing something for those that just want a bit of fun. This is truly a fighting game for everyone.”
