Stardew Valley Creator Offers Update On Console Ports & Next PC Update
While 's massive 1.6 Update has yet to arrive on consoles and mobile devices, creator ConcernedApe reassured the community that they're still hard at work on the ports. PC players have been enjoying the benefits of the 1.6 Update for a few months at this point and while the inclusion of new vendors, mechanics, festivals, and dialogue has been a blessing to many, the question of when it'll be playable for everyone has hung over user's heads. The wait may not come to an end soon, but that doesn't mean development is going poorly.
Posting to X (formerly Twitter), ConcernedApe shared an update on the console and mobile ports, stating that they know it's been a long time coming but promising that they're continuing to work on it every day.
Moreover, they also note within the update that the next PC update is still in progress, answering months of speculation that the 1.6 Patch may be the last official content drop for. ConcernedApe concludes by stating that they may not have any major announcements for console and mobile players but states that «meaningful news» will be shared when it's ready.
