Digital Extremes has announced TennoCon 2025.
The event, which will mark the 10th anniversary of the event, will take place from RBC Place in London, Ontario Canada on July 18 and July 19.
Like 2024, the event will take place across two days, the first of which will allow fans to collect their badge, shop for merch, and attend an opening night event. The second day will consist of the traditional TennoCon events and panels.
TennoCon 2024 was largely focused on Warframe‘s next update, Warframe 1999.The expansion will be released this winter.
The expansion, which features a voice cast including Final Fantasy 16‘s Ben Starr, as well as Resident Evil 4‘s Nick Apostolides, will require players to play through some of the game’s existing content in order to access it. Digital Extremes plans to reveal an onboarding plan for players interested in the expansion closer to launch.
Digital Extremes also held its first Soulframe dev stream during the event, during which it showed off gameplay and detailed Soulframe: Preludes.
In an interview with VGC, Digital Extremes CEO Steve Sinclair said that games companies must have more faith inlive service projects, even if they struggle at launch.
