Eagle-eyed fans had spotted these changes on the Xbox Store and SteamDB pages from earlier this week, which include blank spots for downloading add-ons for the game. Fans are expecting to see updates about Sonic Frontiers’ DLC sooner rather than later, with some even speculating that a Sonic Central event is imminent.
Sonic Frontiers announced its DLC roadmap back in December, which revealed a lot of post-launch support for 2023. The DLC will be coming in three waves of updates, which all provide something different to help extend the game’s longevity. The first update will contain some Quality-of-Life improvements, such as a photo mode and jukebox music player, along with an additional challenge mode. This first wave seems like it will be arriving soon, based on the aforementioned changes.
