The remake of Shu Takumi's Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective now has a release date. The game is going to be available on all platforms come June 30, 2023 as revealed during today's Capcom Spotlight. The game will let players take on the role of a ghost tasked with finding the truth about his death while also preventing other people's deaths. The game will make a spirited release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) at a $29.99 MSRP.
Originally released in 2010, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective brings a remaster like none other as the game will bring visuals adapted for 1080p / 60 FPS quality. The game will also feature improved system features. Players can change the settings to suit their preferences, add easy-to-use Sounds, or change the Language and Auto-Advance settings.
In Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, players take the role of Sissel, an unsuspecting ghost who is stranded in the afterlife on Earth. The man must decipher puzzles, track clues, and channel supernatural abilities in order to figure out the truth behind his death. You can watch the new trailer for the remastered game below:
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective will also bring newly arranged versions of all 37 tracks from the original game, including a new song from the Ace Attorney composer Masakazu Sugimori to commemorate the long-awaited release of this title. Trophies can also be earned by solving different game levels in addition to the new-to-console feature known as Ghost Puzzles. Players can also see a never-before-seen collection of illustrations which can be unlocked in the Extras menu.
