Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin spin-off Sakuna Chronicles: Kokorowa and the Gears of Creation announced
Publishers Marvelous, XSEED Games, and Marvelous Europe, and developer Edelweiss have announced Sakuna Chronicles: Kokorowa and the Gears of Creation, a spin-off of Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin. Platforms and a release date were not announced.
The press release reads, “Currently in development by Edelweiss, developers of the smash-hit indie action platformer and rice-farming sim Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, [Sakuna Chronicles: Kokorowa and the Gears of Creation] is the first entry in an expanding Sakuna franchise. The game will tell a spin-off story focused on the brilliant Princess Kokorowa, Sakuna’s close friend, who is a high-ranking goddess presiding over wheels and inventions from her heavenly home.”
More information will be announced at a later date.
