Resident Evil 4 Remake Can Fix RE4’s Saddler Mistake
The upcoming remake of provides developers the opportunity to adjust the game to make up for the shortcomings of the original. Despite being a fan favorite, the original was not without its flaws. While changes for Ashley seem to be more prominent, she isn't the only character who could use a revamp in the remake.
Throughout, Leon faces a variety of enemies that are a mixed result of Umbrella Corporation's experiments and a cult that formed in the area that would end up discovering Las Plagas, which it started to use in order to recruit new members. trailers show story changes for characters like Luis, and this could lead to the game showing more depth with villains as well as those who help Leon along the way.

Osmund Saddler is fought multiple times in, and his boss fight can seem underwhelming given his importance in the overall story. The lack of information about Saddler gives him an air of mystery, but the remake could emphasize his role in reviving the Las Plagas virus and show more of how he manipulated Salazar into allowing him to access the sealed virus. Saddler's charisma alone played a large role in his ability to win over Salazar and lead the Los Illuminados, but those traits don't seem to be properly displayed in the game.
With the reimagined story of and its darker tones, Saddler's work could have a bigger role considering that he's the reason so many people are infected with Las Plagas.
