Reparing PS4 Controllers - PlayStation 4 (PS4) Forum - Page 1
Hello Everyone
New to the forums and seeking some advice. I have a small collection of controllers that need either new batteries, new circuit ribbons, or both.
I can see that replacement circuits are available on eBay, but I'm unsure if the information I have found is accurate as to what circuits match which charging port.
The listings tend not to show the model number of the controller, but the number of the charging port within the controller (i.e. JDS-030) but according to the photos and what I can see inside a couple of the controllers it doesn't look right. (I am in Australia by the way, so I do not wish to order parts from too far overseas).
I have four controllers that need repairing:
Purple CUH-ZCT2J (needs a new circuit ribbon) Grey CUH-ZCT1E (needs a new battery, and possibly new circuit) Blue CUH-ZCT1E (needs a new battery) White CUH-ZCT1E (needs a new circuit ribbon, but unsure if also needs a battery)
I also have an Orange CUH-ZCT2E that may need a new battery, and an ancient Black CUH-ZCT1E that I might consider getting a spare battery for just in case.
If you have any details of what replacement parts are good and will suit the above, I would be very appreciative!
