's open-world and characters have been praised since the game's 2018 launch, with Rockstar's immense attention to detail making for one of the best in-game worlds to become immersed in. Unfortunately, as with nearly every game in existence, there was content that had to be cut during development, but thanks to the modding community on PC, many fans have found a way to restore some of this.
Oxydine's "" is one such mod, as it reinstates some of the pedestrian dialogue recorded for the game. Arthur also won't flirt with a female NPC if she is a rough traveler, or one of the Cowgirls from LittleCDumpster 's «Cowgirls Revisioned» mod.
Plenty more cut dialogue was discovered last month, including bloopers from performance capture sessions, all of which seemed to be linked to a cutscene in the “A Quiet Time” quest between Arthur, Dutch, Molly, and Lenny. Rockstar does not tend to showcase its recording processes, but between these audio files and the ones used for Oxydine's mod, it's great to see some insight into the game's development come to light again, especially when they can be integrated back into the game like the NPC dialogue was.
