PS5, PS4 TMNT Retro Compilation Eclipses One Million Copies | Push Square
There’s a big win for retro enthusiasts here: Digital Eclipse’s excellent TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection compilation has topped one million units across all platforms, including PS5 and PS4. That’s a really huge success for a bundle of classic games, and while the source material is obviously excellent, it certainly increases the odds of more packages like this emerging in the future.
To mark the occasion, publisher Konami has released some statistics, including the fact that six million in-game pizzas have been eaten. The game was recently updated to add online play to the NES version of TMNT 3: The Manhattan Project, which we imagine has been gratefully received by the one million fans who already decided to, ahem, shell out on the release.
