Last year’s hit Star Wars Jedi: Survivor could be coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate through EA Play, and might even be already available in certain regions. Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment took many Star Wars fans by surprise when it released Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in 2019, a single-player action title that introduced former Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis to the Galaxy Far, Far Away. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor continued his story with an assortment of new lightsaber styles and planets to explore, earning mainly positive reviews on consoles and a more mixed reception on PC due to technical issues.
Almost a year after its release, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor remains massively popular with Star Wars gamers, especially after being polished through countless update patches. Many have been hoping that Jedi: Survivor will eventually be added to Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s subscription-based gaming service that gives users access to a large library of titles for a small monthly fee. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is already accessible to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers thanks to a partnership with EA Play, publisher Electronic Arts’ own monthly service that offers games and rewards.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor could soon be joining its predecessor on EA Play, and by extension Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, at least according to a discovery from Reddit user nicksuperdx on r/GamingLeaksAndRumors. Jedi: Survivor is apparently being offered as part of the EA Play library in the United Kingdom and connected regions on the PlayStation Store, despite there not being an official announcement as of this writing. Nicksuperdx admits that this could be some sort of error on the part of EA, but they also point out that the timing of Jedi: Survivor being added to EA Play coincides with the upcoming Star Wars Day event on May 4.
