According to Feely, this could mean that the Activision game is on its way to Game Pass, similar to how Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition also joined the subscription service after going live on Microsoft Store. Interestingly, Crash Bandicoot isn't the first Activision Blizzard title rumored to join Game Pass as Spyro Reignited Trilogy has been rumored for Game Pass since last month.
