The end of the Ash Ketchum era is approaching rapidly, and while everyone will be sad to see the perpetual 10 year old move on to greener pastures, it will be even sadder for some to see the departure of Team Rocket. Obviously, without Ash's Pikachu to chase after, there's no real reason for the troublesome trio to appear in the new series of the anime. We thought we had a few more episodes left with Jessie, James, and Meowth, but the latest episode of the anime seems to have not only retired them, but split them up entirely.
After being thwarted yet again by Ash and the gang, Team Rocket and their group of Pokemon are flung into the sky by Latias. It then transitions to Team Rocket lying in a crumpled heap on the floor before an argument between the trio breaks out. There's no English dub of the scene at the moment so you won't know what's being said unless you speak Japanese, but it must be serious as the trio has seemingly split up after the fight, each heading off into the distance in different directions.

Of course, arguments between Team Rocket are nothing new, but the dramatic way in which each announce their departure suggests this is something more than just a petty squabble. Hopefully the trio settle their differences offscreen to gives fans a more wholesome send off, and with two episodes left, that's more than a possibility.
However, there are a couple of people who think this might be teasing Team Rocket's inclusion in the next season of the anime. Of course, it was announced that the new season will have its very own Pikachu called Captain Pikachu, so it's possible Team Rocket could band together again for a new target. Whatever the case,
