The new Pokemon anime finally has an official name, Pokemon Horizons: The Series, which was revealed by The Pokemon Company along with the new logo and first trailer for the upcoming series. Pokemonfans get a better look at the main characters from this new show, whose first episode is set to release in Japan on April 14, 2023.
Pokemon fans worldwide said an emotional goodbye to Ash Ketchum and his faithful Pikachu as their adventures ended after 25 years of grinding to become the very best Pokemon trainer. To replace this iconic duo and the infamous Team Rocket, The Pokemon Company announced a new Pokemon anime series that follows the story of Liko and Roy, two trainers from the Paldea region introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. To help these new heroes on their journey across the Pokemon world, The Pokemon Company will be adding in a variety of side characters including Professor Friede and Captain Pikachu, an adventurous duo sporting aviator gear.

The Pokemon Company shared the first trailer for the upcoming anime, revealing that the name is Pokemon Horizons: The Series. The trailer shows the main protagonists Liko and Roy with their companions Pokemon Sprigatito and Fuecoco as they try to unveil the mysteries of the Pokemon world and uncover the secrets behind Liko’s pendant and Roy’s Poke Ball.
