Hello @get2sammyb and the others doing the moderation on the articles.
I have a genuine concern that the suppression of conservative thought on many of the articles is getting to a point where if anyone leans conservative, they aren't able to voice their opinions. I attempted to bring up such a concern in the Horizon DLC controversy thread and my poste was quickly deleted. There was no swearing or even being mean in any way. It was simply deleted stating it was discussing moderation.
I understand needing to ensure that there's no bullying and that civil discourse needs to be adhered too, but when there's so much deletion of conservative thought that we only get to see the replies without any context, it leaves a gap of knowledge. On top of that, the very definitions of what is considered bullying have been modified to such a degree (in all of society — not necessarily referencing Push Square alone) that it only helps a single side of the political isle. Those with Christian, conservative, or even centrist viewpoints are often told that any criticism of left leaning ideology is considered bullying, hate speech, racism, bigotry, etc., when in fact, it's simply having a difference of opinion (not defending people name calling or just being jerks to be jerks).
Is there room to allow free thought on Push Square? I certainly hope so. Most here seem reasonable. I suppose I'll get my answer with how this concern is handled and the replies to it, should they come.
Thanks for your time.
