Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that it will hold a State of Play broadcast this week.
The event will focus on updates from Sony’s third-party partners, including PS VR2 reveals and an in-depth look at Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Viewable on Twitch and YouTube, it will take place on Thursday, February 23 at 1pm PT / 6pm ET / 9pm GMT / 10pm CET.
“Get ready for new looks at some anticipated games from our third-party partners, as well as a first glimpse at five PlayStation VR2 games set to arrive later this year,” Sony said.
“Then, settle in for more than 15 minutes of all-new gameplay details and updates on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the next game from Rocksteady Studios.”
According to the Japanese PlayStation Blog, the event will run for about 45 minutes and feature 16 new titles coming to Sony platforms.
PlayStation VR2 will launch on February 22 and is priced at $549.99 / €599.99 / £529.99. For this, players get the PS VR2 headset, the PS VR2 Sense controllers and stereo headphones.
After a series of delays, Suicide Squad’s release date was officially confirmed in December. It will be available on May 26, 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Playable solo or with up to four players in online co-op, its original story follows Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, who are on a mission to save Earth and kill the world’s greatest DC Super Heroes, The Justice League.
